The Portuguese DJ, producer and naive label boss turns in an hour of infectious club-ready sounds for FACT Magazine.

In the three short years since returning to her native Portugal, Lisbon-based DJ and producer Violet has become a mainstay of the city’s vibrant underground and nightlife scenes. Co-founder of online radio station Rádio Quântica and Naive Records, she’s also a resident at mina, a collective that aims to bring ravers and DJs together with sexual and gender liberation causes. In both her DJ-sets and own productions, Violet elegantly blends techno with breaks and acid basslines, twisting them into new contexts full of dub-inspired bass, jacking rhythms, brass flourishes, and dreamy chords. Her FACT mix does that and more,serving a selection of her own productions and tracks from the naive and naivety family members like Eris Drew, Photonz and Illana Bryne.
