The long-running concert series titled Rewire x Korzo, organised in collaboration with Korzo theater and running since 2016, returns after a two-year hiatus. Korzo theater is one of Rewire's long-running partners – not only during the festival, but also through the prolific Rewire x Korzo concert series. After two years, Rewire happily announces the long-awaited return of the Rewire x Korzo concert series, with two nights taking place in October and November in The Hague.

Rewire x Korzo #23:
Brìghde Chaimbeul, Farzané, Kara-Lis Coverdale
Venue: Korzo (Prinsestraat 42, The Hague)
Start: 20.15 hr
Following her unforgettable performance at Rewire 2024, Brìghde Chaimbeul returns to The Hague to present her incomparable compositions for the Great Highland bagpipe and the revived Scottish smallpipes – as will be heard on her new album Sunwise, releasing later this month. Her innovative approach to traditional music blends droning refrains and animated reels, as exemplified by her electric new single "Bog an Lochan."
Netherlands-based musician, researcher, and sound artist Farzaneh Nouri, aka Farzané, placed visitors under a spell at Rewire 2025. Through an interplay between technology and humanity, and using creative coding, field recording, live electronics, and acoustic and programmable instruments, she builds sci-fi soundscapes of obliterating noise and industrial, machinic impulses. She will perform at Rewire x Korzo using self-developed sensored jewellery that conducts two improvising AI agents.
A beloved composer and musician of spectral, harmonious, experimental ambient music, Kara-Lis Coverdale's latest album From Where You Came arrived after a seven-year gap in major releases for the artist – it was worth the wait. Channelling sublime emotionality and sensitivity, her sounds harken to nineteenth century programmatic music, cosmic jazz, and new age ambience while remaining truly of the current moment – basked in lush improvisation and colourful harmonics, as anyone who caught her performance at Rewire 2016 can attest to. Listen to her nocturnal transmissions and vivid stories at Rewire x Korzo #23.

Rewire x Korzo #24:
Eli Keszler, Nadah El Shazly, Perforator
Venue: Korzo (Prinsestraat 42, The Hague)
Start: 20.15 hr
Grammy-nominated composer and percussionist Eli Keszler's eponymous third album released last month; its smoky Lynchian songs bristle with electricity and dark currents. In his jazzy, cinematic songs, echoing chasmic spaces are filled with skittering drums and dubbed-out textures – projecting a flickering noir scene into listeners' imaginations. His music moves with the quaking sense of atmosphere and experimentation one might expect from someone who has collaborated with Oneohtrix Point Never and Laurel Halo.
Renowned for her blending of experimental sounds with traditional Arabic influences and improvisational styles, Nadah El Shazly's mesmerising vocals and avant-garde arrangements defy genres. Her latest album Laini Tani was released earlier this month – on it, vivid percussion and ethereal melodies intertwine with acoustic and electronic instruments to build an expansive singular sound. The Egyptian-born, Montreal-based producer, vocalist, composer, and actor graced the stage of Rewire 2023 in collaboration with Elvin Brandhi. Rewire is excited to invite her back to perform her deep songs, brimming with euphoria, vibrancy, and mystery. She will perform in a duo accompanied by 3Phaz.
Last but not least, Perforator is an experimental ensemble formed by Kayva van Gangelen – a member of Berlin ensemble s t a r g a z e – and run with sound artist Akim Moiseenkov. At Rewire x Korzo, they present Lijf, a new solo performance which transforms the body into an instrument of sound and memory through a special worn instrument. It explores how the body registers and recalls lived experience – physically, emotionally, and sonically. The performance team includes director Marijn van der Jagt, composer Bec Plexus (one half of No Plexus), scenographer Catharina Scholten, costume designer Sanne Lips, and creative technologist Fedde ten Berge.
