Rewire 2018 music programme complete

With just five weeks to go, we’re ready to share the final additions to the Rewire 2018 music programme.

The eighth edition of Rewire takes place in The Hague’s city centre from 6-8 April. Having previously announced Laurie Anderson, Nina Kraviz, Panda Bear, James Holden & The Animal Spirits and SOPHIE, among many others, we’re now able to confirm exclusive performances by Egyptian trio Maryam Saleh, Maurice Louca & Tamer Abu Ghazaleh, LA-based synthesistand Polish improv duo Zimpel / Ziolek,as well as premieres of special projects by Mia Zabelka, James Plotkin & Benjamin Finger, Elysia Crampton and Glice & Dieter Vandoren.

We’ve also added the following artists to the Rewire 2018 lineup:

Ragazze Quartet performs Laurie Anderson’s Sol, Tom Rogerson, PAUS, Laurence Pike, Za!, Jasper Stadhouders’ Polyband, Nadia Struiwigh, Kepla, Kareem Lotfy, Sven Kacirek, Gagi Petrovic, Ji Youn Kang, Carmen & Matthew Schoen, Oceanic, Oberman, Boi Mesa, Yon Eta and Paul Twin.

In addition to the aforementioned artists, we’re pleased to announce the first part of our discourse programme. In Conversation with Laurie Anderson sees the Rewire 2018 Artist in Focus reflect on her career at the vanguard of electronic music and performance art with The Wire’s deputy editor Emily Bick. The talk takes placeat Korzo, on Saturday April 7 at 13.30. Reserve your seat.

The remainder of the discourse programme, including artist talks, lectures, workshops and screenings will be announced in the coming weeks.

Festival passes for the reduced price of €70 are available until 1 March at 12pm CET. Individual day passes and club tickets are on sale at Tickets.
