After a two-year hibernation, the Rewire x Korzo series is returning this autumn. Today let's dive into Rewire x Korzo #24, on Friday, 21 November, 2025 at Korzo, featuring Eli Keszler, Nadah El Shazly, and Perforator.
Eli Keszler
Grammy-nominated composer and percussionist Eli Keszler's eponymous third album released in early May; its smoky Lynchian songs bristle with electricity and dark currents. In his jazzy, cinematic songs, echoing chasmic spaces are filled with skittering drums and dubbed-out textures – projecting a flickering noir scene into listeners' imaginations. His music moves with the quaking sense of atmosphere and experimentation one might expect from someone who has collaborated with Laurel Halo and Oneohtrix Point Never (on his Age Of album and his score for Uncut Gems). Writing for Pitchfork, Andy Cush describes Keszler's signature drum style as involving "incredible densities of strikes in impossibly tiny temporal spaces, carefully and quietly arranged. He favors a closed hi-hat and tightly tuned snare drum, pinpricks that go silent almost as soon as your ears register them. Even when he rolls across toms and open cymbals, the effect is far from bombastic; more like the patter of soft rain."

Nadah El Shazly
Renowned for her blending of experimental sounds with traditional Arabic influences and improvisational styles, Nadah El Shazly's mesmerising vocals and avant-garde arrangements defy genres. Her latest album Laini Tani was released earlier this summer – on it, vivid percussion and ethereal melodies intertwine with acoustic and electronic instruments to build an expansive singular sound. In a review of the album for Resident Advisor, Sue Park writes: "Spanning past and present with a singular unearthliness, Laini Tani's filmic scope reveals an intense, auteurish meticulosity. The album starts on a deceptively dream-pop bent before blossoming into a genre-spanning ride, shifting course from industrial to classical to trip-hop." The Egyptian-born, Montreal-based producer, vocalist, composer, and actor graced the stage of Rewire 2023 in collaboration with Elvin Brandhi. Rewire is excited to invite her back to perform her deep songs, brimming with euphoria, vibrancy, and mystery. She will perform in a duo accompanied by 3Phaz.
Perforator
Last but not least, Perforator is an experimental ensemble formed by Kayva van Gangelen – a member of Berlin ensemble s t a r g a z e – and run with sound artist Akim Moiseenkov. At Rewire x Korzo, they present Lijf, a new solo performance which transforms the body into an instrument of sound and memory through a special worn instrument. It explores how the body registers and recalls lived experience – physically, emotionally, and sonically. The performance team includes director Marijn van der Jagt, composer Bec Plexus (one half of No Plexus), scenographer Catharina Scholten, costume designer Sanne Lips, and creative technologist Fedde ten Berge.
