!K7 enlists the Berlin-based DJ, producer and composer for the 68th instalment of their DJ-Kicks series.

Laurel Halo has been on a role as of late. Over the course of the past year and change, the enigmatic Berlin-based electronic musician has unveiled a trio of critically-acclaimed, genre-bending releases, starting with the synthetic jazz of ‘Dust’ through the mysterious ambient environments of ‘Raw Silk Uncut Wood’ and onto the melodic techno of her collaborative EP with Hodge. Now she takes charge of the latest instalment of !K7’s iconic DJ-Kicks series. Promising “a blistering ride through electro, trippy minimalism and textures that range from icy to dubby,” Laurel Halo’s DJ-Kicks features standout tracks by the likes of Machinewoman, Rrose, Kiki Kudo, and a trio of her own cuts.
