Due to ongoing Covid travel restrictions and uncertainties, Jon Hopkins has been forced to postpone the entire European leg of his ‘Polarity’ tour, meaning that the show planned for 16 November 2021 will now take place on Wednesday 14 September 2022 at Amare in The Hague. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
Any individual tickets* purchased for the original date, as well as those purchased after that, will remain valid for the new date. Additional tickets will go on sale at a later date. If you wish to request a ticket refund please note the deadline for this is 1 November 2021, to request a refund please write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
* Previously bought Rewire 2020 in combination with Jon Hopkins plus tickets do not grant access. Please note: The refund process for Rewire 2020 tickets expired on 2 April 2020.
Playing grand piano for parts of the show, Jon Hopkins will be joined on stage by a small group of consummate musicians and long-time friends, consisting of acclaimed producer and guitarist Leo Abrahams, violinist and arranger Emma Smith and cellist Daisy Vatalaro. ‘Polarity’ will, Hopkins says, tether together “the two disparate elements of harsh and fragile in my music.” He explains, “by going between the two, we’ll hopefully create some profound moments of stillness.” Performing his live show in a seated venue will present a fascinating challenge for both performer and audience. “I would say my deepest nature lies in the stillness, the meditative side of my music.”
Further ticket information about this event will be announced on the Rewire website in due course.
