Theater aan het Spui, established in 1993, is the so-called “flat-floor theater” that belongs to Het Nationale Theater (The National Theater of The Hague). They have a capacity of 345 in Hall 1, 160 in Hall 2 and a multifunctional foyer that can accommodate around 120 visitors. The National Theater – Theater aan het Spui presents itself as the “living room” of The Hague, where curiosity, wonder, renewal, movement and of course the performances are central.
Theater aan het Spui is wheelchair-friendly and all spaces can be reached by wheelchair and mobility scooter. The venue has a lift and accessible toilets.
