The Copenhagen-based composer and visual artist unveilsthe first visuals of his new album and audiovisual performance.
Originally trained as an architect, Zeno van den Broek’s audiovisual works typically explore the relationship between musical forms, architectural structures and spatial awareness.Employing pure sound sources such as sine waves and white noise, and minimal visual aesthetics such as grids and lines, he develops site-specific patterns of interference that combine and synthesize sound, projections and space into textural masterpieces. His latest effort ‘Breach’, which is slated for release via Moving Furniture Records and premiering at Rewire 2019, goes one step further.Diving into chaotic systems and recent social upheaval around the world, ‘Breach’explores the build-up and release of tension and energy through a new form of pitch-black metal electronics.
