Kelela prepares for her upcoming album release with a brand new music video for her single ‘On The Run’. A short-form neon-noir thriller that leads Kelela and Bambii into dark territory.
After a four-year long silence, R&B queen Kelela has returned to the stage. And with her, she has brought the promise of a new album ‘Raven’ that will see the light of day in February 2023. Once again the album roll-out comes with stunning visuals. In the new music video for the third single of the album ‘On The Run’, Kelala sits in the passenger seat while the co-author Bambii drives their vehicle into the sunset. A setting that takes a dark turn when they end up in a thunderous storm and they free their bodies from their clothes. The resulting landscape in the music video is a beautiful display of the environment Kelela’s music has always worked best in: a setting laced with dark, eerie, yet sensual spirit and packed with vibrant energy.
