The LA-based composer shares a surreal vision for the spellbinding ‘Les Jeux to You’ for her fifth album, ‘Aviary’.

Julia Holter’s experimentalism knows no bounds.From her 2011 full-length debut ‘Tragedy’ through 2015’s landmark ‘Have You in My Wilderness’ to last year’s critically-acclaimed ‘Aviary’, the LA-based composer and multi-instrumentalist exudes an ambitious, uncompromising dedication to experimentation that continues to evolve in scope and sound with each new release. That dedication extends into the visual realm with the video for ‘Les Jeux to You’. Inspired by Alejandro Jodorowsky’s 1968 art film‘Fando Y Lis’ and directed by Geneva Jacuzzi, the surreal black and white vision is slathered in ample black paint and oddball drama to match the grandeur of its sonic roots.
