Venues announced:
During every edition, Rewire looks to host its events in remarkable venues that, due to their own unique character, enrich the overall live experience. This year, Hendrik Schwarz & Nik Bärtsch’s remarkable “Scripted and Prepared” concert will take place in the Grote Kerk, and Tatu Rönkkö & Efterklang present a special concert in the post-industrial setting of the old electrical power plant; Electriciteitsfabriek E.On. Locations such as Barthkapel and Prins27 form suitable settings for intimate concerts from Chantal Acda, Valerio Tricoli and Will Samson. Pop venue Paard van Troje venue will be transformed into a multidisciplinary nightclub; with sets from (amongst others) James Holden, Gold Panda and The Field. Finally, Zaal 3 and Studio Loos function as venues for the day programme, with artists talks and workshops. All the venues are located directly in, or within easy reach of the city centre.

Listed by Rolling Stone magazine in August 2014 as “one of the 10 New Artists you need to know”, Gamble is best known for his work mixing techno, jungle and vintage house. Not one to sit still creatively, Gamble continuously embraces other approaches and technologies. These can be heard on his two new releases on the Berlin-based PAN label, the EP Kuang and the LP KOCH. Joined by Dave Gaskarth (who will oversee the visuals) Lee Gamble will play an exclusive show in the Netherlands for Rewire on Friday 7 November.

Finland’s Siinai are an underground supergroup of sorts, boasting members from Joensuu 1685, Zebra and Snake & Äänijännite. Siiani’s sound is an exciting mix of ambient, prog and Krautrock. Their recent album,Supermarket, looks to create (in the band’s own words) “a soundtrack for the supermarket nations.” Siiani will play at Rewire on Saturday 8 November.
Noveller(US)
Following brief stints in Cold Cave and Part & Labor, American filmmaker and guitarist Sarah Lipstate has gained considerable attention with her solo project, Noveller. Lipstate’s hypnotic, often romantic music is based round the manipulation of the sounds and effects created by her guitar and a large array of pedals and loops. Noveller will play at Rewire on Friday 7 November.
Lee Noble(US)
Lee Noble is a multi discipline artist whose eclectic range of interests (such as risography printing techniques) often inform his music. Noble’s own No Kings label website sums up his modus operandi; “artist-run. avant garde. leftist. small editions.” Lee Noble will play at Rewire on Friday 7 November.

Valerio has spent the best part of a decade perfecting his own mysterious brand of Musique Concrète. Tricoli’s new solo record Miseri Lares has been praised by Fact magazine, who stated, “it could be one of the best things to emerge from the PAN imprint thus far.”

Drvg Cvlvtre – aka Tilburg-based producer Vincent Koreman – has been praised by many for his uncompromising take on techno and doom house. Earlier this year the Guardian chose American Psychosis [Part one] as “This Week’s Best New Track”. Recently signed to the legendary US label Nervous records (who have released the likes of Todd Terry and Frankie Knuckles) Drvg Cvlvtre will play at Rewire on Friday 7 November.

Critically praised for his 2012 album, Balance, Will Samson’s latest release, Light Shadows (a four-song EP, boasting remixes by Benoît Pioulard and Ritornell) was released on the Cologne-based label, Karaoke Kalk, in the spring of 2014. Samson works with a diverse mix of sounds created by his collection of old tape machines and cassettes, adding to the mix with voice and guitar. Will Samson will play at Rewire on Friday 7 November.
