Raised on a diet of Cabaret Voltaire, Warp and beyond, Rian Treanor‘s own music is steeped in the legendary sounds of his Sheffield home. Operating at the intersection of club culture, experimental art,and computer music, the British experimental producer now wields elements of industrial, synth-pop, bleep and speed garage into an intricate matrix of fractured rhythms and interlocking sounds. Following up earlier releases for The Death of Rave and Warp’s Arcola Imprint, Rian Treanor now links up with Planet Mu for the release of his highly-anticipated full-length debut.
