Rewire 2025: A Short Documentary

10 Jul 2025

It’s been three months since the 14th edition of Rewire unfolded across The Hague, but its energy still lingers. As we begin to look ahead to what’s next, we invite you to revisit Rewire 2025 through a short documentary created during the festival.

Captured over a weekend of bold and inspiring performances, installations, and conversations, the film offers reflections and insights from artists such as Alvin Curran, Joan La Barbara, Nyokabi Kariũki, Billy Bultheel, Mo'ong Santoso Pribadi (Takkak Takkak), Ioana Vreme Moser, Asle Nilsen and Janne Kruse (Verdensteatret), and Colin Self. While it can only hint at the full scope of what unfolded in The Hague last April, we’re excited to share this impression with you.

Directed and captured by MIND THE FILM, the Rewire 2025 documentary offers a reflective look at four days of forward-thinking music, installations, and context programming. Featuring the tracks “Bright Tongues” by NYX and “Frekm pt.1” by Djrum.
