Reduced Festival Passes for Rewire 2019 for €75,- are available until 31 January. Offering a €7.50,- discount on the Regular Festival Pass, the Reduced Festival Pass grants youfull access to all events duringthe Rewire weekend, from 29 to 31 March 2019, and can be purchased at Tickets.
Taking place in The Hague’s city centre from the 29 to 31 March, the ninth edition of Rewire showcases cutting-edge developments across a spectrum of musical outputs and artistic disciplines and focuseson sonic adventurers who look beyond the boundaries of their immediate surroundings.
The first artists and projects for Rewire 2019 were announced today and include new works by Chilean-American musician and composer Nicolás Jaar, a unique collaboration between Jlin and Company Wayne McGregor, a new live a/v performance by Lotic and a showcase by Uganda’s Nyege Nyege Tapes. Also confirmed in the first wave of artists are, among others, Gazelle Twin, Tim Hecker, Yves Tumor, William Basinski & Lawrence English, Burnt Friedman and Mohammad Reza Mortazavi as YEK, and CURL, theLondon-based collective of Mica Levi, Coby Sey and Brother May.
