Gut & Irmler(DE)
Two giants of the German experimental electronic music scene join forces at Rewire 2015; Hans Joachim Irmler, from legendary Krautrock agitators Faust, and Gudrun Gut of Malaria!, Einstürzende Neubauten and Monika Enterprise. Their different approaches to music – the Krautrock explorations from Irmler and the hedonistic techno from Gut – were brought together in their acclaimed collaborative album, 2014’s ‘500m’.

IVVVO (PO)
IVVVO, a.k.a. Portugal’s Ivo Pacheco is known for his release ‘Theories of Anxiety’ EP Swiss label Danse Noire. This release adds to IVVVO’s previous ones on the Public Information, Opal Tapes, and Fourth Wave labels. ‘Theories of Anxiety’ has been described as “tape-warped techno full of an uneasiness that bubbles under the surface.”
Aïsha Devi (CH)
Aïsha Devi Enz is a House/techno producer and label boss of Danse Noire. This “Swiss-born, half-Tibetan, totally-driven, self-producing avant-garde singer-songwriter” has a long-standing fascination with manipulating vocal sounds. Now Devi redirects these spiky, sometimes confrontational explorations in a poppy direction through her LP ‘Aura 4 Everyone’
MGBG (FR / IS)
MGBG is a collaboration between French composer and sound artist Marie Guilleray and Icelandic composer / sound artist Bjarni Gunnarsson. The duo focus on composed and improvised music; exploring the combination between voice and live electronics.
Omer Eilam (ISR)
Modern classical composer Omer Eilam describes himself as a “part musician part biologist residing in Tel-Aviv.” Eilam’s work reflects both his classical training and his interest in bringing a scientific approach to music composition.
The Void Pointers (NL)
The Void Pointers are Roald van Dillewijn, Tijs Ham and Eric Magnée. The band modify and create instruments for improvised acousmatic music, to create timbral walls of sound. They performed at the Gaudeamus Muziekweek and the (h)ear festival amongst others.
Organisms (NL)
Organisms are a band from The Hague and Rotterdam who specialise in intelligent, raw and energetic rock, and are noted for their intense and often combustible live shows. Some band members have previously played in Dutch underground rock bands like Spider Rico and Feverdream.
FilosofischeStilte (NL)
FilosofischeStilte is the name of Luuk Graham from The Hague. Starting off as a rapper, his sound quickly developed in a different direction via the use of a Commodore 64 and Nintendo sounds. Graham creates a rich sound that incorporates arpeggios, synth samples, and heavy bass lines.

Paul Panhuysen (NL)
The installation named “Requiem for an Unknown Soldier” consists of four portable barrel organs, created for the general staff of the French Army during World War II. Three of the four organs play different notes simultaneously with brief interruptions, whilst the fourth organ plays four notes simultaneously and continuously. The tuning is based on a specific formula.
‘Fauna vs Rewire’ Programme
Fauna is a new initiative from The Hague that offers a platform for innovative art and music projects. In conjunction with Rewire, Fauna will host a special showcase in Hoop. The line up in the Fauna evening will vary between the frenzied afrobeat rhythms of the Stoka Ensemble through the ghostly vocals of Fetter to the Acid-inspired sounds of Klankman. The Fauna evening will also showcase the talents of and Sima Kim. Alongside the music there will be artworks from Gaby Felten, Leslie Nagel, Sara Pape García and Yara van der Velden.
