We are glad to invite Andy Stott back after his memorable performance at Rewire Festival 2011. Manchester-based producer Andy Stott (aka Andrea) is well known for creating expansive, luscious essays in techno and dub. To date, Stott has released three solo albums and collaborated extensively, including the likes of The Hundred in the Hands and his former piano teacher, Alison Skidmore.
Stott is well known for his collaboration with Miles Whittaker (Pendle Coven and Demdike Stare). The duo go under the name Millie and Andrea. Their latest work, Drop the Vowels (released in March 2014), is a powerful and intelligent release that is able to incorporate fractured but enervating slabs of techno with a dub sensibility.
Still Serious Nic likes wax more than average, works each day at Clone and is involved in the BAKK parties and Phuture West Agency.
Luc Mast is well known for being a member of Malawi (Amsterdam) – the resident deejay team at Trouw in Amsterdam.Mast brings his eclectic and sensual mash ups to the [P]Rewire party on the 10th October in Canvas.
UPDATE:
Due to illness Miles Whittaker (a.k.a. Millie) unfortunately can’t play tonight. The Millie & Andrea show is cancelled. BUT, next to Andy Stott live, Still Serious Nic and Luc Mast we’re very happy to say that A Made Up Sound will join the line-up! We wish Millie all the best and hope to see you tonight.
