Neneh Cherry (SE) & Rocketnumbernine (UK)
Neneh Cherry is famous for her mega hits, 7 Seconds’ with Senegalese singer Youssou N’Dour and ‘Buffalo Stance. But she also has a long history of working in the underground. Her latest LP, Blank Project, is her first solo album in 18 years; a collaboration with the London-based duo Rocketnumbernine, produced by Four Tet, and featuring a guest appearance by Robyn.
RP Boo (US)
Chicago’s RP Boo is an artist that commands a great deal of respect. He’s cited as one of the originators of Footwork, the fast, repetitive, rhythmically syncopated music & dance style that’s a grandchild of Chicago. RP Boo’s Footwork style is unusual, featuring raps and dialogue in combination with sharp-edged and incidental samples.

The Cult of Dom Keller (UK)
“Psych” is a term that fits The Cult Of Dom Keller perfectly. Boasting an accessible and poppy sound that draws comparison with Spacemen 3 and the Jesus & Mary Chain, the band also draw on the experience of true psych luminaries such as Julian Cope’s guitarist, Doggen. With 2 critically acclaimed LPs under their belts, the band will release a new LP during 2015.
DJ Stingray (US)
Sherard Ingram has been a force in Detroit’s electronic music scene for thirty years. He has worked alongside Moodymann, Carl Craig and Anthony ‘Shake’ Shakir (making Urban Tribe’s 1998 LP, Collapse of Modern Culture) and as tour DJ for Drexciya (just before James Stinson’s death in 2003).
Chris Corsano (US) and Mette Rasmussen (DK)
A charismatic and incredibly resourceful performer, Chris Corsano is known for his affirmative and generous take on the art of drumming. He has collaborated with a wide range of artists such as Joe McPhee, Bill Nace and Björk. Danish saxophone player Mette Rasmussen works in the field of improvised music, experimenting with the saxophone’s range and capability in sound and expression. Their debut album was recently released by Relative Pitch in 2015.
Tomas Järmyr (NO)
Tomas Järmyer is currently based in Oslo. With one foot in rock/metal and the other in jazz/improv, Järmyer’s drumming combines wild creativity with extreme energy and presence.
HOEK (NL)
19-year old, Amsterdam-based Casimir Geelhoed, a.k.a. HOEK, is releasing his first EP ‘Mary’ on Fog Mountain Records in April this year. Title track ‘Mary’ made a big enough impression to get HOEK to play at Rewire. HOEK’s raw and dark dancefloor music may remind you of pioneers such as Andy Stott and Vessel.
