We are excited to announce that Leslee Smucker has been added to the line-up of Rewire x Korzo #21, taking place on Friday 29 September. For Rewire 2023’s Sensory Sensitive Concert, Smucker developed the performance Worlds Within, a concert performance that evokes and invites discovery of sound within ourselves. Through this new perfomance, we are giving a wider audience a chance to experience this singular composition. Leslee Smucker is a performer-composer utilising violin, voice, synthesisers, electronics, film, and poetry.
During Rewire x Korzo #21, celebrated Japanese percussionist and composer Midori Takada will present a special new performance, scoring a selection of early surviving Japanese films from the British Film Institute National Archive.
