We are saddened by the news that jaimie branch passed away on August 22nd. jaimie was an inspiration for many, an incredible human, artist and performer. We were blessed to be able to present her solo show as part of our Rewire x Korzo concert series, commission an online collaboration with Elza Soares, and most recently welcome jaimie and her live band at our 2022 festival edition, where they blew everyone away with their stellar ‘Fly or Die’ performance.

Her family, friends and community are heart broken. jaimie was a daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and teacher; she touched countless numbers of people with her music and spirit, both of which are fearless, truthful and beautiful, and will live on in hearts and ears forever. jaimie’s family asks not just for your thoughts and prayers but also for your action. Show your love and support for your family and friends and anyone who may be in need — just like jaimie did for all of us.”
