The first day of Rewire 2019 was magical. Here are a few of the highlights of the festival’s opening night.

Opening with Jlin & Company Wayne McGregor at Koninklijke Schouwburg and Niels Broos & Jamie Peet at Koorenhuis, and stretching deep into the night with the electrifying Nyege Nyege Showcase, the first night of Rewire 2019 spread out across nine different venues in The Hague’s city centre. Our photographers Parcifal Werkman, Stephan Kaffa, Pieter Kers and Jan Rijk rushed around town to capture the incredible energy and performances, including highlights of Jlin & Company Wayne McGregor, Tanya Tagaq, Flohio, Tim Hecker & Konoyo Ensemble, Yves Tumor, Otim Alpha and many more.
