The eighth edition of Rewire takes places in The Hague next weekend – from Friday, 6 April to Sunday, 8 April. Spread across three full days and twelve different venues, Rewire 2018 promises a celebration of forward-thinking in all of its forms. With each edition of Rewire, we also strive to locate the music within wider social and cultural conversations. At Rewire 2018, we anchor our exploration in three key themes: Sense of Self, Network Music and Electronic Music Innovation in Historical Context.
You can read all aboutthese festival themes in the programme guide below. We’ve also included in-depth explorations of our Artists in Focus, Laurie Anderson and Tristan Perich, and a complete overview of the music programme as well as all of the talks, workshops and screenings at Rewire 2018. You’ll also find a series of pressing and captivating texts by seven different writers and thinkers that serve as a guide to our festival themes.
