As 2020 draws to a close, we want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported Rewire throughout a hugely difficult year for live music. Unfortunately, the festival was cancelled just three weeks before it was planned to go ahead. The tenth edition of Rewire would have taken place across 20 locations in The Hague, The Netherlands; from the city center, to the forest, and to the beach of Scheveningen. We were looking forward to realising a very special edition and to welcoming so many international visitors and artists once again.

Luckily, we could reschedule parts of the Rewire 2020 programme in fall under the banner of Rewire x Korzo. Cucina Povera, Stephanie Pan & Ensemble Klang, Greetje Bijma & Oceanic, and Mark IJzerman & Sébastien Robert performed live over two nights in front of a physical audience, live streaming was also introduced. Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant wrote a great review:

In the new year, we are looking forward to the next edition of Rewire x Korzo on 22nd January, for which we invite Ethiopian artist Sosena Gebre Eyesus and Dutch duo Haron & Anne Veinberg. In 2021 Rewire will return, with more information about the festival coming up early next year. In the meantime, we’ve compiled a playlist of some great releases of 2020 for you to enjoy over the festive period, which can be found below.
