Originally commissioned for the “David Lynch: Between Two Worlds’ exhibition, HEXA is the new project of Xiu Xiu’s Jamie Stewart and room40 founderLawrence English. Using field recordings, live instrumentation and a wealth of droning, experimental electronics, Jamie Stewart and Lawrence Englishhave composed a dynamic live soundtrack that channels the post-industrial atmospheres of David Lynch’s ‘Factory Photographs’. The pair will be presenting the Dutch debut of the project, replete with David Lynch’s photographs of disused factories and industrial ruins, at Rewire x Korzo #5on Saturday, 18 February.
