Tony Bontana is a Birmingham-based rapper, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who harbours a poet's mind, a comic's heart, and an endless capacity for genre-defying versatility. He is one half of Everything is Psychedelic with London-based producer psychedelic ensemble, who perform their multi-coloured splattering of leftfield hip hop elsewhere at the festival. Solo, Tony Bontana has released prolifically in the last years, with an extensive discography including emotionally charged works like L’Humanité (2024), a tribute to his late mother, its recently released successor My Name (2026), and the mellow, left-field mixtapes Tumpit (2025) and Tumpit 2 (2025). His production credits include work with prominent underground artists like Novelist, PREM, Lil B, and billy woods. Across his many projects and collaborations, he fuses abstract hip hop, post-hardcore, indie rock, punk and soul influences – envisioning what he calls a "splayed" style of rap.
