Sounds Like Touch believes that the body is key to expressing itself. They host programmes for artists to experiment with physical ways of interacting with technology. Tactology Lab is their main program, which gathers twelve different makers in a 6-day pressure cooker in Utrecht to work towards performances within small groups, while being coached by experts.
This year’s edition of Tactology Lab is curated by Vincent Schoutsen and Dianne Verdonk and is dedicated to the theme of motion. In this fourth lab, participants have been experimenting with materials, bodily movements, and electronics to lower the bar of transferring bodily movements into (electronic) artistic expression. They will present the results of the collaborative process in their joint performance at Rewire.
