The Hague-based composer and artist Sól Ey creates performances and interactive installations while designing instruments that combine sound, space, movement, light, and the body; Modelo62 is a The Hague-based ensemble that conceives experimental works in collaboration with composers and interdisciplinary artists. Their new collaboration, Becoming, is a participatory performance-installation that invites visitors to step into a sensory environment of breathing forms and morphing, interactive soundscapes. In a space filled with musical sculptures and enrapturing scenography, the audience is welcome to roam at their own pace while contemplating the questions that the work poses: How have people's relations to one another changed in the wake of accelerated technological mediation? How might new forms of communication open up the possibility of relations that extend beyond the human and cross into hybrid technological realms?
