Featuring large-scale multi-channel video, sound and performance, ‘Fracture Patterns’ is an immersive audiovisual investigation into the emergent properties of noise. Originally commissioned by the British interdisciplinary music touring network, Outlands Network, this live collaboration pairs visuals from UK artist duo Semiconductor with an original score and theatrical performance by multi-instrumentalist, composer and vocalist Eartheater. ‘Fracture Patterns’ invites the audience to explore the collision and collusion of Semiconductor’s artistic interests in the cosmological to the quantum with Eartheater’s idiosyncratic soundworld, impressive three-octave vocal range and compelling stage presence. Eartheater will also perform a new solo live show at Rewire 2020.
