KHZ kollektiv is the electronic ensemble of the composition faculty of the Royal Conservatory, a variable group of about 6-12 students run by Yannis Kyriakides meeting in the Karlheinz Stockhausen Studio every week exploring the performance and composition possibilities of historic electronic instruments and their modern counterparts. The ensemble has been active since 2013. For this special Rewire-edition the kollektiv exists of Andrius Arutiunian, Eirik Brandal, Yael Levy, Yvonne Freckmann, Nikos Kokolakis, Lam Lai, Maari Mako and Yannis Kyriakides. They’ll be performing with video scores by Yael Levi, Andrius Arutiunian, Lam Lai, Justin Bennet and Yannis Kyriakides.
