Paul de Jongis best known as the cofounder and cellist of the beloved, defunct collage-pop duo,the Books. Last year, De Jong’s released his debut-album “ The album shows that De Jong’s ability to find the musical in the mundane is still a true pleasure to hear: a flawless journey from joyously eccentric folk-pop to humorously inside-out jazz, resulting in a refreshing piece of outsider art. Paul de Jong will perform “IF” live for the very first time in The Netherlands on April 3rd, at Rewire 2016.

Update: unfortunately Paul de Jong has cancelled his tour, so he won’t be joining Rewire this year. Paul has ensured us that he will come to Europe soon to make up for this!We’ve confirmed James Welburn as replacement, he will be joined by Dead Neanderthals drummer René Aquarius.
