Fierce club DJ, promoter and dance music ambassador from Kazakhstan, Nazira has been rising to prominence over the last few years with her emotive and expansive sets. As the founder of ZVUK, a DIY event series in hometown Almaty, she’s helped grow her local scene, becoming a beacon for burgeoning DJs and performers. Through workshops where artists who play ZVUK share knowledge and expertise, she’s helped inspire a new generation of electronic music fans and fledgling artists in Kazakhstan. Lately she’s started breaking out in Europe, as a resident at ://about blank’s Room 4 Resistance nights in Berlin and via her monthly show on Radio Cómeme. Nazira brings her blazing combination of left-field techno, electro, acid and industrial sounds to the Rewire 2020 club programme.
