Milan Warmoeskerken, aka Milan W. is a cornerstone of the Flemish experimental music scene – through his solo work but also as a band member of bands such as Flying Horseman and Condor Gruppe. Since releasing his solo debut Slo Mo (2015), Milan W.’s sound has evolved across a series of releases: from the bubbly electronics of Envelope (2019), to his new release, on cult label STROOM, Leave Another Day (2024), which is folky, wavey, and arboreal – and a near-instant classic that marks a turning point in his sound. Throughout his time recording as Milan W., he has maintained a core focus on tonal warmth and melodic curiosity – qualities that define his dreamy songs.
