Mammo

Mammo is an Amsterdam-based producer who makes ethereal electronic music, and runs the labels E35 and Heaven Smile. His first releases arrived from his now-retired self-run label Nduja, whose physical releases have become sought-after collectors items in the years since they came out. Relics (2020) is a swampy piece of hardware-synth house, where acid basslines are carried by ethereal synth pads. The double A-side Variable / Plate (2023) builds a minimal electronic sound that becomes slowly engulfed by swathes of invasive melodic synths. Mammo's latest album, General Patterns (2025) was released by Short Span, a UK label run by Matthew Kent (Mana, Blowing Up The Workshop). The album format opened up a new kind of possibility for worldbuilding and theme-exploration in his work, which picks up a new ambient and further experimental tone. At Rewire 2026, Mammo presents new music prepared especially for the festival in a live set at The Grey Space in the Middle.
