Lee Gamble is an artist, producer, label owner and DJ of exploratory electronic music and sound. Over the last several years Lee has released as a string of critically acclaimed albums and EPs on seminal electronic music labels PAN and Hyperdub, starting his own UIQ imprint in late 2015. His work combines the sculptural and theoretical sound objects of musique concrète and computer music, the ever mutating dancefloor mechanics of the hardcore continuum, and more recently – the technological and social implications of AI, machine learning and simulation, in his 2020 audio essay on the deepfake ‘Face2Face’. Encompassing various aspects of his latest trilogy of releases Lee Gamble has worked with CGI artist, animator and arch world builder Clifford Sage to present a hyperdrive through the semioblitz of the Flush Real Pharynx simulation where imagined and real world entities tangle, merge and compete for microseconds of our collective attention spans. 'Flush Real Pharynx' will be premiered online at Rewire 2021.
