Born in Buenos Aires and spending her formative teenage years in Paris, internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Juana Molina was taught to play the guitar by her father, the revered tango singer and composer Horacio Molina, at the age of five. Rising to fame first as a sketch comedy actress, Molina’s music is a unique and personal take on the modern folk tradition, which has resulted in seven studio albums across more than 20 years of music-making. At Rewire 2020 Molina performs her bewitching brand of folktronica with her small band.
