Globally recognized as a crucial theorist, touching on themes of gender, disability and chronic illness, Hedva's influential 2016 essay "Sick Woman Theory" has been translated into eight languages and they have published two books, 2018 novel "On Hell" and "Minerva the Miscarriage of the Brain", a collection of essays and poems that was released last year.
