Electronic musician Matthew Herbert and drummer-vocalist Momoko Gill aka Herbert & Momoko perform music from their soulful, elastic collaboration of house-inflected grooves, live improvisation, and lush, expansive arrangement. Their album Clay (2025) treads gently between the unfettered energy of the dancefloor and the more wistful introspection of the early hours in an agile and open-hearted way.
