Dim Garden is a Den Haag-based producer and DJ who has released on labels such as Nightwind Records, Tanzprocesz, ERR REC, Clone, Ophism, Confused Machines, Italo Moderni, as well on Hunger! which she co-runs alongside aea3a. Her debut full-length release Soleil Tartare (2023), on Rotterdam label Yarrow Ballet, is a tribute to the metaphysical side of nature, dancing in the middle space between the depths of Hades’s underworld and the high reaches of Helios’s realm. Her productions of grungy dungeon synth and acidic dark wave are pushed forward by beefy drum machine rhythms. In her DJ sets she transmits an unpredictable array of wavey sounds, from industrial pop and EBM, to dank electro and new wave.
