Join the conversation about the creative process and practice behind Tactology Lab with curators Dianne Verdonk and Vincent Schoutsen, and about the Environments workshop with artist Robin Koek.
Tactology Lab is a recurring workshop programme initiated by Sounds Like Touch. This year’s edition is curated by Vincent Schoutsen and Dianne Verdonk and is dedicated to the theme of motion. In this fourth lab, participants have been experimenting with materials, bodily movements, and electronics to lower the bar of transferring bodily movements into (electronic) artistic expression. The results of the lab will be presented at The Grey Space on Sunday 12 April at 15:00 prior to this conversation.
In collaboration with Environments and Onzichtbaar Den Haag, Rewire’s outreach programme organizes a series of workshops led by sound artists Robin Koek and Marieke van de Ven, where participants will discover The Hague from an auditory and experiential perspective using field recording. The focus will be on interviews, city sounds, and observations, as well as material from the Proximity Music exhibition. During the radio feature, Koek will share and reflect upon edited recordings from the workshop.
