To those who have visited Rewire festival in recent years, Coby Sey needs little introduction. The South East London producer, songwriter, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist graced the stages of Rewire in both 2022 and 2023 – performing his special blend of experimental post-everything music that gathers sounds and motifs from club, hip hop, drone, jazz, dub, and grime. His immense album Conduit (2022), on label AD93, remains a milestone release of the UK underground more broadly. Scintillating atmospherics, spoken word poetics, grizzly edged noise, and booming bass define Sey's sound. On Saturday night, at Rewire 2025, ahead of his performance on Sunday alongside Moin (with Olan Monk and Sophia Al Maria), Sey taps into the simmering dancefloor energy of his productions to present an eclectic DJ set at Korzo.
