Joris Benjamins is the Amsterdam-based musician behind the Bby Eco moniker. Elemental and suburban in equal measure, Benjamins's playful songs take on chimeric forms, moving between effervescent ambience and pop flourishes, as can be heard on his self-released new album Sky (i) (2026). It is the follow-up to his two first albums, O₂O (2023) and Grow! (2021), where he first developed his enduring style of leftfield alt-pop and synthesised bedroom-ambient. At the festival, Bby Eco welcomes artist-friends and collaborators Jespfur on bass and Jack Milner on electric cello to present an extended live rendition of his new album – a cavernous yet intimate work which touches on the subtle moments of tragic beauty that amass and flourish through love, loss, and growth. Listen to his blissful and sincere dawn-songs for sleepful cities at Rewire 2026.
