Veerle Thoben's work is made up of snapshots in time, recording the passing of light, and with it the passing of time. ‘Time elapses, shadows constantly change, and in my work, I want to register something of that process.’ The work affects the space around it and vice versa. In this way, Thoben presents differing perceptions of time and light, in order to gain understanding of the perpetual motion of time.
