This year, REWIRE presents the exhibition, A Matter of Time, with eleven works by nine artists, all of which relate to the concepts of time, memory, beginning and end, letting go and beginning again. The exhibition is free of charge and will be held at the Magazijn, the geographic heart of the festival area.
The exhibition entitled A Matter of Time is about the experience, perception and (philosophical) meaning of time, as well as about the influence and the role that time plays for both the individual and society. The works that can be seen in this exhibition vary from photography to installations, projections, sculptures, paintings, drawings and kinetic art.
The participating artists are David Bowen (USA), Spiros Hadjidjanos (GR), David Letellier (FR), Katja Mater (NL), Miranda Meijer (NL), Sarah van Sonsbeeck (NL), Veerle Thoben (NL) Pieter Vermeersch (BE) and John de Weerd (NL).
