REWIRE presents a night full of cutting-edge club music and experimental beats at DEAF 2012. The program is built around experimental rhythms and bass driven dance music. Ital Tek, Kangding Ray, Blue Daisy and Torus, amongst others, will perform live.

Young gun Torus kicks off the night with his pitched down poststep and glitch hop, while Kangding Ray (FR, Raster-Noton) presents his fine mix of glitch and abstract rhythms backed up by impressive geometric visuals.

Blue Daisy (UK) will be rocking the floor with his sidestepping post-dubstep and post-FlyLo textures. Ital Tek (UK) nicely wraps up the night up with 90’s Electronica, Hip Hop and Techno blended masterfully to his own style of hard hitting and melodic bass music.

The foyer will be hosted by electronic music blog Eclectro, they will be joined by a live appearance from Filosofische Stilte and a DJ set by Mr Lowman.

DEAF is an international festival focusing on art and media technology, and it can be regarded as a showcase for research and production of new media art. This festival in Rotterdam is the ideal place for representatives of various networks to meet and inspire each other, and for international critical debate to take place.
