Established by the vocalist and guitar player of Deerhunter, Lotus Plaza started off as a solo bedroom recording project in 2007. Their dreamy guitar pop is rooted in 50s and 60s pop and 80s post-punk, and is more streamlined and less experimental than Deerhunter’s Halycon Digest, leaving room for melancholic, serene, lo-fi ‘shoegazy’ compositions. Lotus Plaza will perform exclusively for REWIRE FESTIVAL in The Netherlands.
