Light and Sound Machine is an interactive tube installation designed by visual artist Willem Marijs (NL) in collaborationwith two experimental sound artists, Gert-Jan Prins (NL) and Peter van Bergen (NL). FM Modulations by Prins, cracked reeds and electronics by specialist on wind instruments Van Bergen, ‘knirping’ and flashing tubes by Marijs, a variety of sensors, artificial IOM-AIM improvisors and a role for the audience will create an exciting interactive environment of noise, unpredictability and instability reminding of the best days of uncontrollable experimental electronic- and computermusic.
